— Safety
Is massage safe after an injury or surgery?
With a go-ahead first: see a doctor about pain that is new, sharp or getting worse, and wait for your surgeon's approval after a recent operation.
Federal health guidance on massage agrees: don't use massage to put off seeing a doctor about a medical problem.

Yes. Book the prenatal massage, $90 for 60 minutes, once your obstetrician or midwife has given the go-ahead.
What should I tell my therapist before the massage?
Any injury, recent surgery, pregnancy, skin condition, history of blood clots or other health condition, and the pressure you want. You can ask for more or less pressure at any point.
Does Health & Healing treat medical conditions?
No. We're a massage spa and don't diagnose or treat conditions. Sessions are for relaxation and easing muscle tension, alongside any care your doctor provides.
