How much is a deep tissue massage in Roswell?
Deep tissue is $80 for 60 minutes and $120 for 90, the same as Swedish at every length. Book online.
First-visit and member prices
The first-visit special is $79 for a 60-minute massage with hot stones and hot towels, or $109 for 90 minutes, and you book it when you call (470) 549-2020 or at the front desk. It doesn't combine with gift cards or coupons (full terms). Members pay $72 for a 60-minute Signature Massage with hot stones, on a membership of $9.99 a month, and book member sessions by phone as well.

How long should a deep tissue massage be?
60 minutes of deep tissue covers the full body, and 90 minutes adds time on the areas that need it.
30 minutes ($60) suits one or two areas, such as the neck and shoulders; shorter sessions in the chair start at 15 minutes. On a first visit, start with an hour: it shows you which pressure you like before you book 2 hours or more.
Sessions of 2 to 3 hours
Deep tissue also comes in 2 hours ($160) and 150 minutes ($189), both booked online, and 3 hours ($219), which you book by calling (470) 549-2020. Book any of the three ahead, since a therapist has to be free for the whole slot.

How is deep tissue different from Swedish massage?
Deep tissue uses slow, deep strokes aimed at muscle tension; Swedish uses long, smooth strokes at light to firm pressure over the whole body.
Both sit on one menu line at one price, so choosing deep pressure adds nothing to the bill. Not sure which you want? Swedish vs deep tissue compares who each one suits.

Should a deep tissue massage hurt?
Deep tissue should feel firm and deep, never sharp, and you decide how firm.
Your therapist starts by asking what you want from the session and explaining how it will go. Three answers make that quick:
- Where to work: one to three areas, such as the shoulders, lower back or calves.
- How firm: a number from 1 to 10 is easier to act on than "medium".
- Where to go easy: a bruise, a tender spot, or anything that was too much last time.
If you catch yourself tensing against the pressure partway through, say so; it comes down straight away, and it can go back up just as fast.

What is the best massage for a tight back and shoulders?
For tight muscles across the back and shoulders, choose the booking by where the tightness sits.
| Where it is tight | What to book | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Neck and shoulders only | Deep tissue, 30 minutes | $60 |
| Neck, shoulders and the whole back | Neck, shoulder & back massage, 60 minutes | $90 |
| Back plus hips, legs or everywhere | Deep tissue, 90 minutes | $120 |
The neck, shoulder and back massage keeps the whole session on the upper body.

Can I get a deep tissue massage with an injury?
Not on an injury that is new, sharp or getting worse: see a doctor first, and book once you have the all-clear.
Check with your doctor before a firm massage in these cases too:
- Recent surgery: wait for your surgeon's approval.
- A history of blood clots.
- A skin condition on the area you want worked on.
- Pregnancy: ask your obstetrician or midwife, then book the prenatal massage.
Deep tissue here is for easing muscle tension. We're a massage spa, and we don't diagnose or treat conditions.

Which add-ons go with a deep tissue massage?
Cupping ($15) and gua sha, hot stones or the massage gun ($10 each) suit deep tissue, and you pick them while you book.
- Cupping: cups create suction on the skin and leave temporary marks, so skip it the week of a pool party or a backless dress.
- Hot stone and hot towel: heated, smooth stones on and along the muscles.
- Rapid tension relief: a massage gun on the spots that stay tight.
The other 11 add-ons are on the price list. For stones from start to finish, book a hot stone massage.
